Mac Port版のEmacsを入れようとしたら、githubから引っ張るところで認証を求められる。
ここで素直に認証情報を入れても通らない。

2021/8/13より、GitHubはアカウントとパスワードによる認証は受け付けなくなったらしく、PAT(Personal Access Token)を代わりに使えと。


GItHubにアクセスし、Settings -> Developer settings -> Personal access tokens -> Toekns(classic) と辿る。


ここでトークンを生成したら、シェルの環境変数HOMEBREW_GITHUB_API_TOKENにこのトークンをセットする。今回はzshを使っているので、~/.zsh.envに、export HOMEBREW_GITHUB_API_TOKEN=(トークン文字列)をセットしてから、souce .zshenvして反映した。

で、再チャレンジしたら、行けた。
